Dear [%Employer_firstname%]
Good news!
Your profile has been now been verified and you are now ready to start searching for your next hire.
It cost you nothing to start a searching, but just be aware that the website is still in its early stages, our database isn’t where would like it just yet so please be patient as we work through that.
Find some information below regarding the Work on Farm process and how it can best work for you to help you connect with your next employee.
Work on Farm was created for those who own or manage a farm wanting to employ someone, but don’t have the time to go through the whole recruitment process.
Here’s a quick guide to get you started:
Step 1
Create a short list name of the role you’re wanting to fill e.g Farm Hand, this will be important when you are starting to add candidates to your shortlist
Step 2
Begin searching for the person by making your selections relating to your business and the person profile you are wanting. See anything you like? add them to the shortlist name you created in step 1. The first selections may bring up a few option in the results page. From here we can refine those by filtering our selections even further to cut back your results located on the left hand side of your screen.
Step 3
Now you’ve found a profile or profiles you like, push the notify button and wait for the prospect candidate to accept or decline. You will be notified via email of the outcome. You will notice an alias label option, you can name your candidate so that you remember who they are.
Step 4
If the prospect candidate accepts, you will now be able to purchase the profile and begin making contact. Note if you’re rejected then you won’t be able to do this
Work On Farm
Puts you in the drivers seat, you create your profile and begin searching on our database for next for your next hire. The talent pool will be made of people working in all type of Agricultural enterprises looking to find alternative employment. So it will be important have your filters right, so that you have the right type of candidates for your business showing.
Our commitment is privacy, so rest assured that their identity will not be revealed unless they want it to. So what that means is that, names, personal details, places they’ve worked i.e. what is on the resume, will not be shown.
As a prospective employer you will be bound by confidentiality laws. Candidates will also find out a little about you, so they can make an informed decision. This will be in the form of enterprise, Location based on the region (not specific address) among other criteria. On the off chance that a candidate is known to you, that accepts to connect, we ask that it to be kept confidential so that in no way compromises them.
When you as the employer is searching for someone, you will be choosing from an identical list that a job seeker chooses from.
As the job seekers identity is concealed, candidates are shown as candidate 1, 2 etc. From there you should be able to give your candidates alias names for ease of remembering who they are, as you move further in the process. Once you have your short list, from there you can further refine your list to your top 4 or 5 or whatever you choose. You can then start asking the job seekers you are interested in, to connect. You will need to give the job seeker some time to review, a notification will then be sent to you of their decision to either accept or decline.
Job seeker accepts – their full profile will be made available for purchase (e.g. resume and full profile) from there it will be important to make some form of contact either via a message or phone call. If they have pushed accept, this means that the information they have found out is of interest, and or your business is far removed enough from their current one that their identity won’t be compromised.
Job seeker has pushed decline – you will be notified and their full profile will not be available for purchase, their identity remains concealed and you will not be able to contact them.
